Life Conference - 2015
Life Conference workshop was a runaway success which started with Doppler workshop conducted by B S Rammurthy followed by Doppler workshop by Dr. Sonal Panchal, renowned sonologist. Afternoon session which was about marital & Sexual counselling by Dr. Narayan Reddy & Dr. Meenakshi Choudry was very well received. The high light of the day was role plays on consent & mob violence & it was a prelude for the launch of Kavach Doctor's Association. As usual had a packed audience and overcrowded halls. Thanks to each one of you who made Life 2015 workshop a huge success. Looking forward for Day 1 and Day 2.
Conference Day 1 started with the expert sessions that involved a lot of one to one interactions between a close knit crowd with the designated experts on preassigned topics that had a lot of practical relevance. The symposiums on 'Third Party Reproduction,Preeclampsia-Pregnancy and beyond and Thrombophilia/Reproductive immunology were major crowd grabbers. The panel discussion on 'Post partum thromboprophylaxis' never seemed to end though clear take home messages were conveyed to the audience. Talks on PGD and Male infertility were well received. The teleconferencing session with Dr.Laura Magee was appreciated by a packed audience.A little disturbance in internet connectivity did not seem to hinder audience attention. The plenary sessions on both the days of the conference were big hits which surprisingly included an elaborate session on Yoga in Infertility with a practical demo- may be the first of its kind in a scientific conference.All the other speakers on the plenary uniquely portrayed their expertise that kept the audience enthralled.The medicolegal session almost was a block buster with a lot of audience interaction.
Conference Day 2 was equally crowd puling. Those on Environment and Lifestyle and infectious Diseases were v.unique to life. The debates on what determines failure ;Clinician vs Embryologist and the one between the endocrinologist and the obstetrician were hot favourites. The' Whats new session' went on with a packed audience asking a lot of queries on their use and application. The scientific posters were judged rationally by renowned scientific experts in this field which was followed by an analytical discussion during the oral presentation which added value Overall the academic sessions were magical casting a spell end to end on a totally interactive audience' The culmination was all about' Celebrating life' after the scientific deliberations Thanks to Siddharth A Rao & Pooja Sidharth Rao for the surprise cake to commemorate 5 yrs of this great event involving all those who were actually involved in its making It was indeed' Life beyond expectations!!!'
